Football Federation Australia have announced a new policy for the Recognition of Overseas Coaching Qualifications:
• FFA only recognises Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and Union of European Football
Associations (UEFA) accreditation for conversion to FFA Advanced Accreditation
• Certificates which do not have AFC or UEFA on them will not be converted.
• Certificates should be translated to English
• Certificates must be current, (ie, date on certificate must be less than four years prior to date of FFA receiving application) If there is no date on the certificate, a letter must be provided from the Federation who conducted the course, confirming the expiry date
• The coach must be residing in Australia
• If an application is successful the coach will be given four years accreditation and will receive aletter in the post confirming their FFA accreditation
• The coach will not receive a Coach ID Card or Certificate. These are only distributed to coaches who attend and pass FFA Courses
• To apply for re-accreditation after the four year period the coach should follow the FFA Advanced Course Re-Accreditation Policy and if successful will receive another letter confirming their new expiry date
