Football Queensland has introduced a new initiative from the 1st January 2009 whereby participants can now complete their Grassroots Football Certificate free of charge.

Athlete Assessments are again running a number of Coaching Workshops in Brisbane, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast and North Queensland throughout 2009.

Sports Medicine Australia QLD branch has many courses running throughout the year.

Commencing in 2009, the School of Physiotherapy and Exercise Science at Griffith University-Gold Coast campus will be ‘rolling out’ two new fully online coaching programs: a Graduate Certificate in Sports Coaching (40CP) and a Master of Sports Coaching (80CP) program. In 2011, a Master of Sports Coaching (Honours) program will also be introduced.
